At MNP (My New Place), we are committed to protecting all our customers. By accessing or using MNP, you agree to follow our content guidelines.

 

Content Guidelines

We’re acutely aware that our community of explorers values the insights and experiences shared by their peers and our collaborators. It’s crucial for us, and for the adventurers we cater to, that the narratives on our platform and application are anchored in truth, provide value, and safeguard well-being.

The rich tapestry of experiences, visuals, reflections, and indexes that you and your fellow journeyers contribute should align with these revered guides. We urge you to peruse them with diligence. These guides are mere pieces of a grander manuscript, which includes our Pact of Engagement and the Tome of Confidentiality, detailing the agreement you enter into with us upon sharing your chronicles.

These guides are dynamic, shifting with the tides of time, with the freshest update inscribed at the commencement of this document.



Reviews
 

We recognize the weight of credible evaluations for our travelers. Your contributions should be genuine, encapsulate your actual encounters, and adhere to these guidelines.

We scrutinize all submissions, ensuring only those who have genuinely engaged with a travel service can share their evaluations.

We showcase all evaluations, positive or otherwise, provided they meet our standards.

Evaluations not directly verified by us are distinctly marked.

Occasionally, you may offer immediate feedback – allowing you to share your thoughts on your hotel, flight, car hire, or activities in real-time.

 

Reviews Moderation

Our automated systems oversee the moderation of evaluations, pinpointing potential guideline breaches. When these systems flag content, it undergoes human review. Any evaluation found infringing these guidelines will not feature on our platform. Should an evaluation be declined, we notify the author, offering them a chance to revise and resubmit.

 

Eligibility and Removal

Conditions for Eligibility

Every review published on our platform whether on the website or the mobile app must meet the eligibility criteria else will be rejected or removed in case the review doesn’t meet these criteria:

  • Reviews must be submitted within six months of your stay, at any of the places on MNP – My New Place whether a room, suite, chalet, house, apartment, condo, villa, etc.. Customers are allowed one review for the same property
  • Customers can not review a property that you own, manage, or are otherwise associated with, and
  • Customer’s review must be after a completed stay or in other words real experience.

 

Circumstances for Removal

We may discard evaluations if they:

  • Reveal personal details of others.
  • Are identified as fraudulent.
  • Are offensive, illegal, or contain prohibited content.

We do not discard evaluations solely for negative content.


Service Evaluations

Accommodation Evaluations

Post-booking, we’ll invite you to evaluate your accommodations. Each section you complete will be progressively submitted to us.

Incentives

We occasionally incentivize evaluations with rewards, irrespective of the evaluation’s sentiment.

Scoring

Travelers score their experience on a scale, which we then convert to a unified scoring system.

 

Partner Responses

Property partners can address evaluations, but we do not facilitate direct contact with evaluators.

 

MNP – My New Place

Our “two-way review system” allows both all MNP platform customers Owners and Guests to submit their evaluations, which are published simultaneously after a completed stay.

 

Activity Evaluations

We invite you to evaluate your booked activities, averaging all related final scores for a headline review score.

 

General Content Guidelines

Prohibited Content

We disallow misleading, harmful, or offensive content. Submissions must not include:

  • Irrelevant content.
  • Unlawful statements.
  • Profanity or objectionable content.
  • Personal data.
  • Copyright-infringing material.

 

Creating Content

When creating content:

  • Focus on your experience.
  • Use proper grammar and originality.
  • Contact our team for assistance, not through evaluations.

 

Photo Submission

Photos must adhere to technical specifications and contain no commercial content. They must be genuine and not with any watermarks from other websites like Realtor, Zillow, Redfin, MLS or any of our comparative platforms around the U.S. and Worldwide.

 

Reporting Content

If you encounter content that may breach our guidelines, please reach out to MNP Help Center or Customer Support.
